UltraBoost Earphones
Overview
A conceptual earphone design created to demonstrate advanced CAD modeling, CMF articulation, and rendering precision. This project explores component layering, ergonomic form, and visualization clarity using SolidWorks and Keyshot.
CAD Modeling
The outer housing was designed using precise surface modeling in SolidWorks. Particular attention was given to curvature continuity, fillet transitions, and split-body components for CMF control.
CAD Focus: Surface modeling, part separation, curvature control.
Component Breakdown
Designed for real-world logic, this exploded view demonstrates understanding of product assembly, tolerances, and internal structure using multi-body techniques.
CAD Focus: Multi-body modeling, mating strategy, exploded assembly visualization.
CMF & Rendering
Keyshot was used to explore soft-touch plastics, brushed aluminum, and gloss details. Lighting setup emphasizes edge transitions and silhouette clarity.
Render Focus: CMF planning, model accuracy for photoreal rendering.
Lifestyle Use
Bridging design with context, the final image places the concept in a real-world scenario, supporting a future-forward lifestyle concept.
Tools & Skills:
SolidWorks: Surfacing, part modeling, exploded views
Keyshot: CMF visualization, lighting, material mapping
Photoshop: Compositing, environment adjustment
